Q: What should I expect?

A:
The massage room is in a quiet and private area away from any distractions or interruptions. The room is arranged in a dimly lit area with quiet meditative music as to excel as much relaxation and comfort needed to ensure a deeply beneficial massage. We use scented and unscented massage oils/lotions. And have comfortable cushions and pillows to help in the proper positioning with spinal alignment.

Q: What do I wear?

A:
That's totally up to you. We prefer you to completely disrobe. If you feel more comfortable wearing undergarments that's not a problem. You are NEVER exposed and always under sheets/blankets. You will need to remove ALL jewelry.

A:
Average wait time is 24-48 hours for an appointment. Although from time to time We "may" have a cancellation, it's easier if you call ahead. We'll try to get you in as soon as possible within our physical capacity.

Q: I recently had surgery, should I get a massage?

A:
Depending on the surgical procedure and on your Doctors advice you probably can. What I will do is isolate the surgical area and work around it, trying not to interfere with any previous incisions or procedures.

Q: What are your pricing policy and fees?

A: It is out of respect to our therapists and the efforts they provide that our prices are non-negotiable. We refuse to undermine the effort and experience we provide in our sessions in order to undercut competitors.  Please keep in mind, this is a governed healthcare profession with legal and continuing education regulated by our state. As a Licensed Massage Therapist myself; I understand the hard work my therapists put into their careers.

Very Respectfully,

Michelle Lea, LMT Owner, President & CEO

Q: What is seated chair massage?

A:
The client sits with their face angled toward the floor, in a custom massage chair, kind of a forward facing recliner. You stay clothed at all times and we work through the clothing on the back, neck and shoulder areas. This is extremely helpful for those unsure of massage as a way to learn about the therapist and meaning behind massage. This also is a good introduction to neck shoulder problem areas concerned with migraines and carpal tunnel syndrome. Stop by the Photo Album to view images.

Q: I have a previous medical condition, should I try massage?

A:
Depending on the medical condition, we will want to see a permission slip or a referral from your Physician first. Massage is not meant to eliminate ANY form of traditional treatment, but to enhance it.

Q: Do you offer gift certificates?

A:
Yes, each gift certificate can be purchased out of our locations of operation, but must be redeemed at the place where it was purchased. They can be purchased by session or by any dollar increments. Please be advised, that session rates may increase after the purchase of a gift certificate. It is the client's responsibility to pay the difference.

Q: How often should I get a massage?

A:
Frequency depends on what the problem is. We recommend if your pain is acute or a result of an injury that you visit every three days. For pain that is experienced continually, we recommend monthly "maintenance" visits. Listen to your body and let it tell you. The therapist will make a suggestion depending on work being done.
